Dr. Mo has a wealth of life and professional experiences that makes him a great certified coach in the following ways:

The Executive
Dr. Mo has worked in executive leadership roles at several Fortune 100 and 500 companies. He has lead teams of 60+ leaders across many states simultaneously. Most recently served as the Clinical Informatics Officers. Prior to his last appointment, he held clinical and technology leadership positions at Hewlett Packard, Vanderbilt Medical, Emory Healthcare, and Hospital Corporation of America.
The Entrepreneur
Dr. Mo is the co-founded a real estate company in 2002, which is a fully functional and profitable organization today. He co-owns a full-service trucking company in 2016, which transports freight across the United States. Lastly, he co-owns a mental health clinic in 2020, which services clients’ mental health needs in several states.
The Author
Dr. Mo is the author of several children’s books, which were created to enhance their self-confidence, awareness, and self-love. Additionally, he has adult books underway that will improve their lives in many ways. All the books can be reviewed and purchased in the SHOP.
The Professor/Trainer
Dr. Mo Abney is a seasoned adjunct professor that teaches graduate and doctoral students in the Business, Nursing, and Informatics programs. He also teaches professional and personal development courses.
The Mental Health Provider
Dr. Mo is a seasoned, doctorate prepared Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of various healthcare experiences. Dr. Mo has over 15 years of mental health experience. He has provided treatment for children, adolescents, and adults, including veterans, experiencing behavior challenges such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder..
The Veteran
Dr. Mo served in the US Navy as a hospital corpsman for several years. A war veteran, he understands the complexities veterans encounter with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Additionally, he understands the challenges veterans face when transitioning back in civilian life. He is dedicated to serving veterans in every capacity each day.
Maurice holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Chatham University, Post Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from University of Texas, Master of Science in Nursing from Liberty University, and a Master of Business Administration from Wayne State. He holds the Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute and is dual ANCC board-certified as a Psychiatric/Mental Nurse Practitioner and Adult Health Clinical Nurse Specialist.
